This battery charger is designed for charging sealed-in lead-acid batteries with 12 volts voltage and from 0.7 to 3 Ah capacity. The device conducts an optimum 2-step charging procedure for charging the battery as quickly as possible and without any damage. The device provides optimal lead-acid battery storage mode with self-discharge current compensation.
The charger temperature can rise up to 140°F (60°C) while operation. The “Sonar” charger can operate in 2 modes, automatically moving from one to another depending on battery status:
- Mode I – charging mode (charging the battery with direct current)
- Mode II – storage mode (battery self-discharge current compensation)
The process of battery charging is controlled by the “CHARGEREADY” indicator on the body of the charger. In “I” operation mode (charging mode) the LED lights up with red color, and when the device is in “II” mode (storage mode), this indicator changes the light color from red to green.
To charge your laser tag gun properly, you should do the following:
- Insert the charger plug into the power socket on the playing kit. When properly connected, the indicator of the charger should light up with green. When the connection is incorrect, the indicator will not light up.
- Plug the charger into the power socket, and it will operate into one of the charging modes, depending on your battery status. You can monitor the charging process by the LED’s color. After the end of the battery charging, it is recommended that you disconnect the charger from the power socket, and then unplug the charger connector from the gaming kit slot.
PLEASE NOTE: Battery recharging should be made only under supervision and for not more than three hours.
Failure to comply with these rules can cause the breakdown of the charger and playing kit!
