Switching on is done by the button, that is located on the bottom of the case. The RGB tape and speaker are tested after Dome’s start. Activation of the Dome can be made with the common remote control device or with MedKit, as in is usually done with your game sets. Changing settings this hit sensor is made with Laser Tag Configurator application. Connect your USB-base to the PC, turn on the Dome and the device will be automatically switched to “admin mode”.
The Dome is a hit sensor system designed to simulate the destruction of armored vehicles in laser tag games featuring vehicles such as:
- Cars
- Armored personnel carriers
- Tanks
- Other large mobile units
The Dome attaches to the vehicle using a magnet. This damage sensor can be configured to register hits only from weapons with specific damage values. For example, you can assign damage levels like 5 for assault rifles, 7 for machine guns, 10 for heavy anti-material sniper rifles, and 15 for grenade launchers. The Dome’s settings can then be adjusted to register hits only from weapons with damage of 10 or higher, ensuring that light weapons won’t affect it.
Additionally, the Dome includes wiring that can trigger external devices such as fireworks, allowing you to create realistic explosion effects when the vehicle is “destroyed.”
Operation:
To power on the Dome, press the button located at the bottom of the case. Once activated, the RGB lights and speaker perform a self-test. The Dome can be triggered using a standard remote control or a MedKit, just like other game devices.
Settings can be customized via the Laser Tag Configurator app. Simply connect your USB base to a PC, power on the Dome, and it will automatically enter “admin mode” for configuration.
